For our Molecular & Analytical Testing team located in Erkrath, Germany we are seeking an experienced technician as
Senior Lab Technician I (m/w/d)
Your duties and responsibilties
- Performing molecular or analytical analyses in a GMP environment
- Laboratory work with biopharmaceutical samples (including cell cultures and viruses) up to risk group S2
- Supporting our scientists in planning, preparing and completing analytical tests
- Supporting our scientists in processing internal documents such as deviations and SOPs
- Review of laboratory documentation as well as the evaluation and summary of analysis results
- Supporting technical staff during execution of GMP tests
- Support and ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of GMP system, including creating standard operating procedures, assuming responsibility for equipment and infrastructure, equipment qualification, validations, etc.
Your education and experience
This position would suit an experienced technician who is an excellent team player and motivated to achieve optimum results.
You will also be expected to have:
- A successfully completed degree in natural sciences (Bachelor´s) or a successfully completed apprenticeship as a biological-technical assistant / biology laboratory technician with at least 2 years of professional experience in relevant areas
- Experience in molecular biology, qPCR or protein analysis
- Highly structured, detaile-oriented and goal-oriented work while adhering to tight deadlines, sense of responsibility, organizational skills, high reliability and flexibility
- Resilience, teamwork and communication skills
- Good verbal and written skills in German and English
