Job Summary

We are seeking a Manager of Organizational Change for our Information Technology site located Wilmington, MA.

 

The Manager of Organizational Change will be focused on the development of change management team members, the quality of deliverables, and the evolution of the methodology in place to support the adoption of solutions to prioritized business problems.   Other key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Builds and manages an organization capable of executing the tactics for adoption
  • Manages staff according to the CRL IT Management Practices
  • Initiates ongoing improvements in the value delivered by the adoption service -- e.g. quality, flow of work through the system, components of value delivered sooner, hand-off mechanisms & documentation, etc.
  • Performs work assignments given by manger, to the quality required and in the agreed time
  • Helps to develop and reports performance metrics for adoption services
  • Develops procedures and policies for the adoption services
  • Stays current in change and adoption best practices
  • Acts in the best interest of the company and is a steward of company assets

 

The following are minimum qualifications related to the Manager of Organizational Change position:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in organizational development, behavior, change management or related discipline; Master’s level education preferred.  
  • Minimum 8 years related experience in people and change transformation
  • Minimum 4 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Previous experience with leading business transformation projects, including process improvement and change management
  • Working knowledge of methodologies and tools relevant to change, including application of these for various situations
  • Managing Work In Process (WIP) and experience reducing multi-tasking
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance (i.e. GxP, SOX, GDPR, damn, .)
  • Ability to travel as needed, both domestically and internationally; should not exceed 25% travel per calendar year.  
  • Change management certification preferred

The Corporate Functions provide operational support across Charles River in areas such as Human Resources, Finance, IT, Legal, Sales, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Corporate Development. They partner with their colleagues across the company to develop and drive strategies and to set global standards.
