Job Summary

 

CDMO Consolidation (40%)

  • Consolidates and analyses the financial performance of all the CDMO sites (3 in US and 2 in UK) for actuals, plan, forecast, and strategic plan.

  • Coordinates the calendar and the process for financial planning for CDMO, ensuring alignment with the corporate calendar.

  • Utilizes SAP, AFO and SAC applications to develop routine/standardized financial reporting tools for variance analysis and reporting.

Cell Therapy (60%)

  • Perform variance analysis of monthly/quarterly forecasts, Annual Operating Plan, and Strategic Plan

  • Support monthly business reviews with senior management discussing operational and financial results, challenges, opportunities, strengths, and weaknesses.

  • Monthly headcount analysis vs plan/forecast

  • Analyze monthly client pass-through material costs vs production forecasts

  • Routinely analyze client unbilled and aging receivables and partner with CRL Credit and Collections, Project Coordination, Client Project Management, Business Development, and Site Leadership to drive resolution towards lowering balances. 

  • Prepare client invoice reconciliations, along with relevant supporting documentation to assist Project Coordination and Client Project Management address client invoicing needs.

  • Maintain and update visual aids using ThinkCell to support monthly and quarterly business reviews with senior management.

  • Routine updates to Sales Funnel charts and graphs, transfer visuals to monthly MBR and QBR, and maintain version control

  • Assist Memphis and Hanover Cell Therapy sites with Capital expenditure requests, including CLAW (Capital and Lease Approval Workflow) submission, PO tracking, and project status.

  • Partner with CRL Fixed Asset accounting to follow-up with site project managers for project updates.

  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent business or science degree
  • Experience: 5+ years related experience and training. Experience in Life Science industry preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills with recommendations grounded in data.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Regularly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Regularly provides information to and receives information from/through various technologies, media, sources and contacts. Must be able to accurately exchange accurate information in these situations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • General office working conditions, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

Compensation Data

The pay range for this position is $90,000/yr. -$100,000/yr. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
