Charles River Safety Assessment is currently looking for a Business Developer with a strong knowledge over industrial chemical market and/or Agrochemical market covering Germany for our Crops and Chemicals services
Responsible for achieving annual sales targets in the German territory, you will  be directly reporting to our global sales manager for the Business. 
As a Business Developer  having over 5 years of experience in a CRO environment and knowledge in regulatory affairs, you are known for your communication and leadership  skills. Ideally, you have cosmetic and/or food industry market knowledge.  
 
Your main responsibilities: 
 
•    Develop and implement short and long-term sales strategies and objectives to achieve the Company’s revenue goals for the EU Crops and chemicals market.
•    Provide input on sales objectives, opportunities and competition. 
•    Formulate and implement policies and objectives to ensure the efficient and effective operation of sales force activities.
•    Partner with operational senior leadership to drive and design tactics, strategy and decision-making for new and existing service lines.
•    Develop an in-depth understanding of customer needs, buying behavior, purchasing and decision-making and recommend creative solutions, methods and procedures to meet customer expectations.
•    Develop and implement pricing and discounting in conjunction with senior leadership to ensure services are competitive while retaining profitability.
•    Recommend service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
•    Ensure adherence to pertinent regulatory requirements and to departmental policies, practices and procedures 
Profile : 
 
•    Education: Master’s degree (MA/MS/MBA) Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Agrochemistry. A PhD is a plus. 
•    Language : You are fluent in both English and German. 

Other:

  • This position requires regular travels within Germany (around 40 % of the time).
  • Base Salary and 20% SCP, car allowance, full IT equipment and benefits  
  • Fully remote role. Participation in sales meetings and trade shows as required.
