Job Summary

 

We are seeking an experienced Database Developer/Programmer I.

 

This position designs, configures and builds system specifications that address business process requirements. Involved in the planning, configuration, and deployment of system implementations and enhancements. Documents and tests functionality of the system; corrects deficiencies and may adjust configuration as required to reflect improvement in business process, data management/integrity, application effectiveness. Evaluates integration between applications and infrastructure, operational requirements, and characteristics/functionality of overall system. Responsible for meeting software compliance and company’s system architecture standards. May act as a liaison with other business functions.

 

 

The following are minimum requirements related to the Database Developer/Programmer I position.

 

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in computer science or related discipline.
  • Experience:   Minimum of 7 years related experience in IT.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
  • Other:  Requires good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and must be fully competent in IT functional area. Requires knowledge of Windows IIS 6 and 7 for web based application delivery and administration/configuration Microsoft SharePoint. Requires knowledge of implementation of electronic signatures in a regulated (FDA) environment.
