Job Summary

 

As a result of Charles River's continued growth, we are seeking a talented Stock Plan Manager to join our high-performing Benefits team at our Corporate HQ in Wilmington, MA.

 

As the company's dedicated Stock Plan Manager, you will own all aspects of stock plan administration and stock-based compensation for our global equity plans. A large part of the role will include interfacing and coordinating with key business partners in compensation, payroll, global tax, financial reporting, human resources and legal, as well as the executive team and our corporate board of directors.  Additionally, you'll be:

•              Managing the annual long-term incentive process, from modeling share usage and projecting expected expense, to managing the actual granting of stock.

•              Developing and delivering timely communications related to stock awards, including grant notification, terms and vesting events.

•              Resolving highly complex issues requiring specialized expertise.

•              Serving as the internal expert on all aspects of the company's stock plan.

•              Ensuring all income and tax withholdings are reported timely and accurately to payroll.

•              Assisting with SEC filings (Form 3, 4 and 5) including Proxy and Section 16 reports.

•              Maintaining stock plan documentation for both internal and SOX compliance.

•              Performing detailed analyses related to stock, as required.

•              Participating in broader total rewards initiatives and processes as appropriate.

 

We are specifically looking for candidates with the following education, experience and skills:

•              Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in related discipline

•              Minimum 6 years of experience with global equity administration

•              Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

•              Excellent analytical and organizational skills

•              Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and internal/external partners

•              Ability to multi-task and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

•              Ability to identify and implement process improvements

•              Certification/Licensure:  CEP preferred
