Job Summary

 

The Salesforce.com Senior Analyst supports the delivery of projects and enhancements to our SFDC ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Apttus Conga CPQ and CLM, Einstein, Pardot, etc., within an Agile environment.  The role acts as a liaison between IT and the business, and will help solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions by working collaboratively with the admin, development, data, and architect teams. He/She will solicit and document user stories from our business partners, and work to ensure the technical solution meets the customers needs at the highest quality possible. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

•    Work with end users to gather, understand, and define business requirements
•    Prepare scope documents for each project or initiative to record the defined user stories/reports/dashboards/solution/changes, and agree on timing, resources, and deliverables
•    Document Salesforce platform processes and workflows
•    Communicate with team, as well as key business stakeholders about project challenges
•    Leads and facilitates the gathering of customer needs and objectives to evaluate new applications or enhance existing applications
•    Ensure solution meets the requirements and expectations of the business by defining success criteria upfront
•    Ability to prioritize business needs in implementation based on scope and timeline
•    Carry out discovery workshops
•    Monitor deliverables and ensure projects are being completed on time and on quality
•    Maintain a holistic view of all business system processes and users, to understand functional impacts with regard to configuration, process, workflow and reporting
•    Prepares communications and makes presentations on solution alternatives and system enhancements
•    Work with the Global SFDC Solution Architect and developers to identify solutions to meet the business needs
•    Understand internal master data, data flow, sytems of record, and perform impact analysis, troubleshoot issues, etc. 
•    Develops reports, data tables, graphs, and charts to effectively communicate relevant data and information to others in the organization
•    Adhere to quality standards, pertinent regulatory requirements, and to departmental policies, practices and procedures. 
•    Stay up to date on new features in Salesforce releases
•    Other responsibilities as assigned

 

Job Qualifications

 

•    Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent required. Salesforce Admin certification, or working towards certification, preferred.
•    Experience: 8 or more years of Salesforce experience, and hands on experience using standard Salesforce and Apttus tools.
•    Experience working within an Agile environment
•    Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills 
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
•    Ability to use business acumen to develop solutions to functional and technical issues and be results driven
