Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Systems Analyst for our IT Technology Partner Team located in Wilmington, MA.

 

The Senior IT Systems Analyst will partner primarily with the Sales and Marketing, Corporate Communications and other Enterprise business functions to understand the business landscape through dialogue and observation and then leveraging this business knowledge along with their understanding of various technologies to “translate” that into identifying business needs/requirements, configuring a system or partnering with technical teams and/or developers to solve various business problems with technology.  Additionally, this role may also support other business functions in a similar capacity.

 

Partners with other technical teams and/or developers to  design, configure and build system specifications to work to solve various business problems with technology.  Acts as a liaison with functional teams and other technology areas.  Documents and may test functionality of the system; corrects deficiencies and may adjust configuration as required to reflect improvement in business process, data management/integrity, application effectiveness. Evaluates integration between applications and infrastructure, operational requirements, and characteristics/functionality of overall system. Responsible for meeting software compliance and company’s system architecture standards.

  • Applying technical and business knowledge to successfully perform their activities and achieve their accountabilities
  • Applying the TOC (Theory of Constraints) thinking tools
  • Unpacking the business problem, articulating the needs from business partners
  • Translating core business problems and needs into technology solutions
  • Asking good questions through the art of humble inquiry
  • Providing radical candor feedback to business partners
Job Requirements

The following are minimum qualifications related to the Senior IT Systems Analyst position:

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Operations, Computer Information Systems, or related degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience in roles working within or closely with the Sales and Marketing functions
  • Prior experience in technology roles and environments leveraging Salesforce.com, and/or other Marketing tools such as Pardot, Drupal, SharePoint or other web development technologies.  Additionally BI and Analytics tools and technologies is desired.
  • Prior experience with pricing, quote generation and contract management processes and technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

The Business Technology Partner (BTP) organization partners with corporate and business functions as the “face of IT.  The broader team is responsible to collaborate with the business through problem definition, solution assessment and design and through the implementation of technology solutions, in partnership with Project and IT service delivery teams.
