Roles Summary

We are seeking an experienced Principal ERP Specialist for our site located in Wilmington, MA
 

SAP’s ERP solutions are used globally throughout CRL’s business operations. These technologies are used in CRL for finance, procurement, sales, customer service and scientific operations. CRL is rapidly growing and we rely heavily on our expanding ERP platform and solutions to support the organization in its strategy. CRL is looking for a Principal SAP ECC Specialist experienced with Financial Management and Human Capital Management with a focus on HCM, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Tax, Controlling, Project Systems, Intercompany Processing, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.  The Specialist will provide subject matter expertise, oversight, and guidance in assuring the delivery of high quality support inclusive of continuous improvements and other service related activities to a diversified user community across multiple geographies and businesses.     
 

The ERP Specialist is accountable for:
 

  • Providing application and business process expertise within the Service Delivery team for the areas of Financial Management and Human Capital Management
  • Meeting Service Level Agreements and customer satisfaction targets in the resolution of incidents within Financial Management and Human Capital Management
  • The transition of project lead initiatives to the Service Delivery Organization by acting as the liaison between Project team members and Service Delivery team members to assure successful knowledge transfer and acceptance of open items such as known issues
  • Maintaining a strong positive relationship with business technology partners, project delivery team and key business contacts in defining and prioritizing continuous improvements
  • Assuring system documentation is current and accurate
  • The solutioning, on time delivery, and quality of enhancements and service requests

 

The following are minimum requirements related to the Principal ERP Specialist position.
 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in computer science, engineering, business administration or related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years SAP experience that includes supporting and enhancing an existing SAP ERP implementation, experience within Life Sciences or other regulated industry
  • Strong SAP Expertise focused on: HCM, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Tax, Controlling, Project Systems, Intercompany Processing, Accounts Payable, COPA, and Accounts Receivable
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, clarify, quantify and document business requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to suggest, define and implement business improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to define and deliver services in the context of supporting ERP applications
