Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Business Techology Partner for our Information Technology Group site located in Wilmington, MA.
 

The Associate Business Technology Partner (BTP) is a strategic partner supporting the Enterprise and Commercial functions, inclusive of IT. They will support the BTP practice lead in partnering with these business functions to define business/ technology problems, create business cases, optimize the portfolio of  project and enhancement work and the drive adoption of technology solutions. They will support the creation of technology solution roadmaps and align the development of these solutions with business priorities.

This individual is responsible to work with customers and business partners to prioritize work in partnership with Project Delivery and IT Service Delivery teams.  

The individual must be a self-starter with strong communication, organizational, and influencing skills who will work to become a trusted partner to the organization. They will receive their work assignments from the BTP Practice Leader.

 

The following are minimum requirements related to the Associate Business Technology Partner position.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) or Master’s degree .
  • 5-8 years related experience in building strong customer relationships, preferably in the life sciences industry with focus on Technology.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
  • Consulting experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, influence and partner with senior IT/ business leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance customer responsiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the analysis of complex business needs and integrate those into compelling and actionable strategic plans.
  • Strong ability to partner and operate within a matrixed organization across IT teams.  Matrix management primarily includes IT leaders and business partners.
  • Working knowledge of Problem Solving Tools/Theory of Constraints (TOC).
  • Ability to apply Prioritization Methodology/Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP).
