Long Description

We are seeking a Financial Analyst III to support out Financial Planning & Analysis team located in Wilmington, MA. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Analyst and review financial data in GL, including invoices against budgets/forecast to ensure validity, accuracy and completeness
  • Analyst operating results again department budgets, prepare monthly forecasts and manage results to meet budget targets
  • Active support role during month-end close process which includes: journal preparation, accruals, collecting support documentation, balance sheet scheduled and variance analysis and reporting to executive review
  • Update and monitor monthly operational re-forecasts and communicate to key stakeholders
  • Creates analytical models that support and advance business decisions
  • Aggregates data to determine costs of business activities. May recommend budget adjustments, and other cost improvement measures.
  • Assists in the analysis of financial data and extracts and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or project a financial probability.
  • Performs statistical, cost and financial analysis of data
  • Records, classifies and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principals.
  • Supports regular process improvement efforts designed to improve efficienc and scalability.
  • Applies a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, verifies documents for completeness and compliance.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

 

The following are minimum qualifiactions for the Financial Analyst III position:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business (analytical bias), Economics or related field
  • Three plus years of relevant work experience
