Job Summary

 

We are seeking a Employee Communications Manager, for our Corporate Communications Department located in Wilmington, MA.

 

The position is responsible for developing and implementing internal communication strategies and plans that engage, align and inspire employees with Charles River’s vision and business strategy and drives employees' understanding and engagement on Charles River’s priorities and key initiatives.

 

The following are the minimum requirements related to the Employee Communications Manager position:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in marketing, communications, human resources or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years related experience in employee communications for a multi-site organization.
  • Excellent writing and marketing skills required. Effective communication skills for large, multinational audiences. Strong interpersonal skills including collaboration, influencing, aligning, and active listening.  Must feel comfortable discussing communication needs with senior leaders
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

 

About Corporate Functions

 

The Corporate Functions provide operational support across Charles River in areas such as Human Resources, Finance, IT, Legal, Sales, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Corporate Development. They partner with their colleagues across the company to develop and drive strategies and to set global standards. The functions are essential to providing a bridge between strategic vision and operational readiness, to ensure ongoing functional innovation and capability improvement.
