Job Summary

 

We are seeking a Employee Communications, Content Strategist for our Corporate site located in Wilmington, MA.

 

This position will work with our cross functional team to organize and manage all of the content the team produces. This person will curate content to effectively target employees across the job, across various channels. They will be responsible for identifying new ways to share content across the company globally, as well as maintain current communication channels and our editorial calendar. The position will also manage all communications at the Wilmington site, will be the main point of contact for the weekly newsletter, be the primary manager and expert of two of our communication channels: our email platform, Poppulo, and our digital signage program.

 

The following are responsibilities related to the Employee Communications, Content Strategist:

 

  • Strategize, organize, and curate all Corporate Communications content.
  • Manage our email program, Poppulo, and become an expert on the platform.
  • Manage our digital signage program and become an expert on the platform.
  • Manage all communications at our headquarters in Wilmington.
  • Understand our internal and external channels to develop new strategies to repurpose content.
  • Manage the Corporate Communications editorial calendar.
  • Develop and maintain content repository.

 

The following are minimum qualifications related to the Employee Communications, Content Strategist position:

 

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Communications, Marketing or related discipline.
  • 1 to 3 years related experience.
  • Experience with Poppulo and digital signage. Experience learning and becoming proficient on new technology. Ability to drive projects across a cross-functional team. Experience managing content across multiple channels. Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to draft content for internal employee channels. Excellent planning, organization, and implementation skills. Quick thinker with exceptional attention to detail. Innovative, with a critical/creative thinker mindset. The ability to work independently and be flexible, and embrace change enthusiastically.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

 

About Corporate Functions

The Corporate Functions provide operational support across Charles River in areas such as Human Resources, Finance, IT, Legal, Sales, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Corporate Development. They partner with their colleagues across the company to develop and drive strategies and to set global standards. The functions are essential to providing a bridge between strategic vision and operational readiness, to ensure ongoing functional innovation and capability improvement.
