Job Summary


We are seeking a Customer Service Rep I at our Wilmington location.  

 

*This is a full-time, temporary opportunity.

 

The Customer Service Rep I will be responsible for the following:

 

  • Process customer orders for products and services, including changes to existing orders, establish new customer accounts, update existing accounts with data management group; record lost orders and send order confirmations
  • Respond to basic inquiries regarding products and services
  • Communicate and follow up on price quotations
  • Communicate animal availability, product information, and delivery schedules
  • Resolve basic problems and customer complaints
  • Follow up on complaints to ensure customer expectations are satisfied
  • Serve as liaison between Production at all CRL facilities and other support groups to effectively process orders and satisfy customer requests
  • Coordinate with transportation carriers regarding shipments
  • Coordinate information regarding new business, customer issues or other pertinent customer information to account managers
  • Process routine reports as required
  • May handle dedicated account(s)
  • Utilization of Sales Force, SAP and Live Chat


Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Associate's degree (A.A./A.S.) or equivalent in business, life science or related discipline required.
  • One year related experience.
  •  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
  • Proven multi-tasking skills and strong organizational skills.    

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.)
  • Experience with a CRM (Sales Force and SAP)
  • Call Center experience .
