Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Talent Acquisition for our Global Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (GTA CoE). The GTA CoE builds and drives the strategy for how Charles River attracts and acquires top talent for our open positions.  This position will be based in our corporate headquarters in Wilmington, MA with remote location an option.

 

For Associate Director, Talent Acquisition role, the successful hire will  be responsible for driving all Talent Acquisition initiatives across multiple geographies and business lines in North America.  As we are currently undergoing a complete transformation in Talent Acquisition, this role will challenge and grow the new hire.  Major initiatives include harmonization and management of our outsourced recruitment model, harmonization of new HR management systems including Recruitment Management, Recruitment Marketing, and Onboarding, implementing talent assessment initiatives, determining site specific employment branding and marketing opportunities, as well as driving results through metrics.  The role will align to both HR and the businesses in North America.  The hire will also be closely tied to their global counterparts to assure alignment, share knowledge, and build a winning team.

 

The following are minimum requirements related to the Associate Director, Talent Acquisition position.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or related discipline required
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience with proven experience in a talent acquisition leadership role
  • Extensive experience leading recruitment activities, including executive recruitment
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing recruitment strategies, marketing plans, policies and programs
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), SuccessFactors experience preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite: Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience in global work environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
