We are seeking a Hardware Technician for our Bioanalysis department located in Elphinstone, Tranent.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operation and maintenance of scientific equipment.
  • Use of scheduling tools to ensure efficient use of laboratory hardware.
  • Support the Laboratory Scientist in the day-to-day operation of a busy laboratory.

 

Applicants should:

  • Have a technical background and an interest in working with technology.
  • Be comfortable working with Microsoft software packages.
  • Have strong organisational skills.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Have Experience of equipment fault finding and/or repair would be advantageous.
  • A degree (or equivalent) in a science or engineering discipline would be advantageous.

Salary banding for this position will be dependant on the candidates skills and experience.
