Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer (Application Development) for our Information Technology team. This is a remote based role.

The Software Engineer will be responsible for transforming designs and the product vision into high value business applications. You will coordinate the work of developers in a multidisciplinary agile squad. The Software Engineer stays on top of fast changing technology and invests a lot of energy in learning new capabilities. You will have knowledgeable on industry trends in application development and aware of what the near future will bring. The Software Engineer will have a love for high quality solutions and a passion for great user experiences.

 

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in computer science or related discipline.
  • Significant experience in web / application development.  Experience as a developer in a cross functional agile team is required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and use of Application Lifecycle Management tools
  • Programming experience with object oriented languages such as C# or Java, of other web app technologies; HTML, CSS/LESS/SCSS, JavaScript, and of responsive design, of app infrastructure technologies; browsers, applications servers and of SQL and related database technologies,
  • Experience in low-code development, particularly the OutSystems platform is desirable
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to use them in practice
  • Ability to write effective unit, integration, and end user automated tests
  • Must have well-developed leadership skills and strong interpersonal skills including influencing and aligning.
  • Able to apply extensive advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts to solve highly complex and unusual problems.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex technical concepts and align organization on decisions

 

The salary for this role will be depending on qualifications and experience.
