Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist focused on Screening and Sourcing for our Mid-West, Safety Assessment business. 


As a temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the recruitment efforts for positions across multiple sites.  This position will work directly with our Talent Acquisition team to search for and engage passive candidates building pipelines for hard-to-fill roles.


Key responsibilities of this role include: 
•    Develop and deliver qualified, diverse pipelines of active and passive talent utilizing various cost-effective sourcing strategies, such as internet job boards, networking,             resume mining, social networking, cold calling, college/university recruiting and job fairs.
•    Partner across a variety of functions to create relevant, compelling, personalized and high-touch candidate experiences that align with Charles River Labs values and               mission. 
•    Partner with Recruiters to create robust sourcing strategies, qualify and present candidates.
•    Pre-screen applicable candidates, recommending candidates to the Talent Acquisition team based on detailed requirements of position and job competencies.


The following are minimum requirements related to the Talent Acquisition Specialist position:
•    2+ years of direct recruitment experience including sourcing for passive candidates.
•    Corporate and agency recruitment expertise.
•    Skilled at planning and prioritizing work activities; able to easily adapt as goals, priorities, and role responsibilities may change.
•    Proficiency in using IT staffing tools (i.e. ATS, internet job boards, networking and social media).
