Job Summary

BASIC SUMMARY:

As a Senior InfoSec Investigator you will provide technical expertise and support to agile teams and IT management in risk assessments, implementation, and operational aspects of appropriate information security procedures and products to ensure the integrity and security of enterprise information and computing infrastructure against unauthorized disclosure, unauthorized modification, and accidental or intentional loss of data.

Note : Its an fully remote working role. May require occasional domestic or international travel as per business requirements. The potential applicants to be based either in Ireland or UK

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Conduct digital forensic collections, preserving evidence in a repeatable and forensically sound manor that is suitable for presentation in a court of law.

· Insider Threat Investigations. Conduct data triage of alerts collected by SIEM\SOAR, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) events and other endpoint monitoring tools. Support insider threat investigations according to policies and procedures.

· Understand and follow chain of custody procedures.

· Support and enhance the insider threat program.

· Support and enhance the data loss prevention program.

· Make eDiscovery collections and assist with keyword searches, deduplication, and responsive document production.

· Identify, investigate, and recommend appropriate corrective actions for information security incidents and potential threats, and responds to reported security violations.

· Enforce security policies and support existing systems in accordance with policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.

· Participate in the evaluation, development, and implementation of security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse system environments to enhance information systems security and prevent the unauthorized use, release, modification, or destruction of data.

· Assist in developing security awareness materials, security presentations, information security training sessions, and communications to actively promote information security awareness for all users.

· Participate in the design of secure business processes in conjunction with other IT functional groups and business units to mitigate risks and enhance system security.

· Work with management to identify sensitive and critical data, understand organizational security needs, and develop procedures to accommodate those needs.

· Understand information security methods and control techniques such as firewalls, intrusion detection software, data encryption, data backup and recovery.

· May train less experienced personnel in technical complexities of assigned work.

· Perform all other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in computer science or related discipline.

· Experience: Minimum of 5 years related experience in IT, with 3 years in an information security operations or engineering role.

· An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

· Certification/Licensure: IT security related certification desired (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CFCE, GIAC, GCFE, GCFA, or similar professional certification).
