Job Summary 
We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join the Pennsylvania business to assume operational finance related duties. The Senior Finance Manager is a front-line leader role supporting the Pennsylvania business by:
Developing and administering accurate weekly and monthly forecasting and annual operations and capital budget preparation; assuming full accounting budgetary responsibility for assigned business. Your contributions will directly impact long term decision making and course of the business. 

  • Preparing financial summaries including key performance indicators for business reviews, management reporting, budgeting and strategic planning
  • Preparing analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results compared to forecast, budget, and prior year, including market impacts, etc
  • Performing ad-hoc complex analyses as warranted including year-to-year comparisons and determining margins on new goods and/or services for forecasting and pricing purposes. 
  • Challenge the business to deliver performance gains by developing, implementing and analysing appropriate key performance indicators to improve business performance.
  • Developing and analysing cost analytics, including but not limited to standard costings and absorption analysis for performance of the business
  • Developing, implementing, and analysing commercial analytics, such as customer performance, service line profitability and price/volume/mix
  • Develop, and analyze competitive intelligence. This includes understanding key competitors, monitoring, and reporting financial performance where applicable and helping the business to determine strategies and tactics to respond to competitive dynamics. 
  • Working with financial reporting systems to analyse the business and developing into a subject matter expert on our financial reporting systems
  • Effectively collaborate closely with internal business partners, providing financial expertise on processes and value-added management to support them in achieving their objectives. Think strategically with business partners to help grow the business. 
  • Educating internal leaders on budget management to support good understanding of their accountability and ownership. 
  • Supervise direct report(s), provide mentorship, and support their professional development.
  • Developing short and long-range operating objectives, organizational structure, staffing requirements, and succession plans

Job Qualifications

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent required.  
  • Experience:  More than 5-6 years related experience in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in financial analysis. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
  • Certification/Licensure:  MBA, CPA or CMA designation preferred.
  • Other:  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to work well in a team environment and with all levels of management including executives.  Comprehensive understanding of operational, sales and financial issues for business unit required.
  • Location: On site Malvern, PA or Wayne, PA location (Hybrid Model)
