Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. IT Technician - Site Services for our Safety Assessment site located Spencerville, OH.

The following are basic responsibilities related to the Sr. IT Technician:
Ensure IT performance issues are addressed efficiently and effectively to meet service level agreements.  Act as users’ single point of contact for all IT service delivery issues (service desk agent role).  Resolve complex issues with the desktop computing hardware and software environment. Provide technical guidance to less experienced team members. May be assigned as primary point of contact to provide support for executive users.  Work with minimal supervision.

The following are minimum qualifications related to the Sr. IT Technician position:
•    Education:  High school diploma, General Education Degree (G.E.D.) or equivalent. Associate’s degree (AA/AS) in computer science or related degree preferred
•    Experience:  At least 7+ years experience in technical support & troubleshooting desktop client hardware & software issues, such as operating systems, MS Office suite, Internet Explorer, & other desktop applications in an enterprise environment
•    An equivalent combination of education & experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education & experience listed above
•    Certification/Licensure:  A+, Network+, MOS, &/or MCP certifications desired
•    Other:  Technical Knowledge/Experience:
•    In-depth knowledge & extensive hands-on experience in desktop operating system maintenance & troubleshooting, & installation & support of MS Windows operating systems
•    Expert ability to support, maintain, & troubleshoot MS Office suite of productivity tools, & hands-on experience of Internet Explorer & other CRL core applications such as anti-virus software, MS Outlook, Veritas Netbackup, Remote Access technologies/VPN utilities, Lotus Notes, AS/400 Client Access, Adobe Acrobat & other Adobe products
•    Expert ability to plan & organize work schedules & coordinate schedules to meet work priorities & service levels
•    Working knowledge of MS Windows compatible desktop & laptop hardware & use required.
•    Expert ability to support PDA devices 
•    Knowledge & experience in various LAN technologies, such as:  TCP/IP, Fast Ethernet, Hubs, Switches, & Routers
•    Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with customers, colleagues, & other technical staff in a courteous & friendly manner
•    Ability to work in a multicultural environment with sensitivity & respect for diversity
