Job Summary

 

To accomplish technical activities while following the instructions of the study plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and in compliance with the Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). We are currently looking for an Automation Analyst for our Genetic Toxicology team located in Senneville, Quebec. 

 

Below are the responsibilities related to the position: 

 

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of the instrumentation. 
  • Set up the tests and reagents necessary to carry out the tests. 
  • Supervise and observe tests on automated platforms. 
  • Provide the appropriate reagents and consumables for the platform to allow the test to be carried out. 
  • Solve problems related to the operation of automated platforms. 
  • Test new methods and associated parameters.
  • Undertake continuous training. 

 

Here are the qualities required for the position of Automation Analyst:

 

  • DEC in sciences ou/or AEC;
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above;
  • Interest in automation;
  • Thoroughness, attention to detail, and excellent observation skills;
  • Independent, dedicated, and well organized;
  • Good in logistics (planning, organization in the lab);
  • Good understanding of GLP;
  • Interested learning;
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds;
  • Knowledge of ELISA, an asset;
  • Know how to work with instruments, an asset.
     


Comments:

  • This position may require overtime, weekend, holiday, and/or after hours shift coverage, as needed.
