Job Summary


We are currently seeking an Analyst for our Immunogenicity Department located in Senneville (West of Montreal), Quebec.

The Immunogenicity department mainly analyzes the immune response induced by biotherapeutics, including gene and cell therapies, as well as biologics and vaccines. The purpose of these analyses is either to assess the safety of different drugs (e.g. biologics) or to determine whether they are effective (e.g. vaccines). We work with pharmaceutical compounds that target several therapeutic areas, including oncology, inflammation, infectious diseases, ocular diseases, metabolism, and diseases of the cardiovascular, renal, respiratory and central nervous systems. Our team develops numerous methods per year and is constantly growing.

In this position, you will perform sample analysis work in a laboratory environment. Perform data analysis to determine if results are within expectations. Record data in accordance with company policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements. 


The following responsibilities are related to the Analyst position:


  • Perform various immunoassays and enzyme assays on a variety of platforms including ELISA and ECL antibody assays, cell culture and bioassays, protein purification, dialysis and labelling. Various automation platforms can also be used, such as Biomek, Gyros and Hamilton.

  • Perform method development, validation and sample analysis. 

  • Document and process analytical data according to GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) to maintain the company's high level of quality. 

  • Work in collaboration with scientific staff to optimize methods. 


The qualifications for this position are as follows:


  • Possess a DEC in Science (biotechnology, medical laboratory or equivalent) or a BAC in Science (Immunology, Biology, Biochemistry or equivalent).

  • Ability to work under time constraints, excellent organizational skills, and ability to adapt to change.

  • Work with precision, pay attention to detail, and strive for quality work.

  • Self-starter with a collaborative and positive attitude.

  • Reading and writing English is required. Bilingualism is an asset.
