Currently we are growing and have vacancies across a range of skill sets including structural biology, assay development, ion channel biology, high throughput screening and stem cell biology.

The breadth of biology and assay platforms you will be exposed to as part of Early Discovery - through interaction with a diverse range of clients - is second to none. Can you exploit your knowledge, skill and enthusiasm for biological sciences to help our clients realise the potential of their discovery and development programs?


We currently have a number of opportunities within our Early Discovery Biology business unit (located in either Saffron Walden UK, Harlow UK or Leiden NL) – focussed on in-vitro biological assay development and profiling of potential drug candidates. These roles are right at the forefront of the drug-discovery process, interacting with a huge variety of different clients from start-up biotechs, through academic institutions to large multi-national pharmaceutical companies. Within Early Discovery Biology we build novel biological assays, identify potential drug targets through functional genomic screening, deliver High-Throughput diversity & phenotypic screens and help to drive optimisation of candidate molecules through on-going pharmacological profiling.
