Job Summary

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the purchasing cycle from purchase to pay for high value and/or complex products and services.
    • Review Purchase Requisition and meet with internal clients if necessary.
    • Source products or services to obtain optimal pricing
    • Negotiate pricing and terms & conditions with vendors to obtain optimal value
    • Issue Purchase Orders (POs)
    • Resolve issues with vendors if necessary
  • Contract negotiation and management.
  • Investigate non-purchasing related cost avoidance opportunities.
  • Develop strategic purchasing practices in collaboration with global category leaders
  • Participate in vendor management program.
  • Participate in the drafting of policies related to procurement activities.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications :

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent in Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
