Job Summary

We are seeking a Research Scientist I- Molecular Imaging for our Molecular Imaging group in out Mattawan, MI location.

 

  • The Research Scientist has interactions with clients, ability to work on studies/programs of basic to moderate complexity, and understanding of the importance of overall project costs. 
  • Develops expertise in a given area.  
  • Participates on project developments. 
  • Provides study conduct or study design advice to clients and to technical teams
  • Acts as a resource for more junior staff and may contribute to training other research scientists in some areas

Job Qualifications

  • At least Bachelor's and relevant work experience/education
  • Equivalent to 5 years’ total experience in relevant area/education
  • Previous work experience, higher degree, or generally has gained work experience as Senior Scientific Associate for 2-3 years
  • Potential entry level for Masters or PhD degree with no work experience.

Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market.  Each year approximately 120 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
