Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review and create Job Plans and Preventive Maintenance schedules designed to maximize asset life.
• Evaluate equipment need for critical spares to be kept in inventory.
• Inspect evaluate conditions of facilities and equipment to provide data for the facility Master Plan.
• Support construction planning, purchasing, and commissioning of new facilities assets.
• Support engineering project design from a MEP standpoint.
• May assist with scheduled PM's, calibrations, inspections, repairs; ensure tasks are completed by outside services or performed in house.
• Develop and maintain equipment records.
• Update building and equipment records to ensure all preventive maintenance (PM) activities and unscheduled repairs are reliably performed and documented.
• Support operations, as needed, to ensure client needs and company goals are met.
• Other duties as assigned.
“The pay range for this position is $80,000 (USD)/yr. - $100,000 (USD)/yr. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.”
Job Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Required Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or Engineering Technology and 3 years related experience; or, associate degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or Engineering Technology and 5 years related experience
• Experience with SharePoint or any other CMMS or work order and access control systems, preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in HVAC, boilers, chillers, and other mechanical systems.
• Ability to function effectively in a high-paced and occasionally demanding environment.
• Ability to work well within a team, while still being self sufficient when needed.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels inside and outside the organization.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Computer skills, commensurate with Essential Functions, including the ability to learn a validated system.
• Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to evenings, weekends, extended shifts, and/or extra shifts, sometimes on short notice.
• Ability to work under specific time constraints.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Ear Protection, when necessary. Glove and eye protection and standard uniforms.
• All applicable PPE per recommendations for entry or process by Environmental Health and Safety department, including animal room entry requirements (when necessary); safety glasses; dosimeters when in restricted radioactive material rooms.
