Core responsibilities:

 

  • Managing and driving talent acquisition for our two sites in Leiden and Beerse.  Sourcing and attracting candidates using web-based tools, employee referral program, university recruitment, career fairs, agencies etc.  
  • Partners with hiring managers and HR to forecast talent acquisition needs and to articulate proactive pipeline management strategies.
  • Proactively screens and provides the tools, framework, and process for effective candidate assessment, interviews and selection. Manages applicant tracking, record management, and ensures process compliance.
  • Coordinates all pre-employment screening/background checks and partners with HR and management to facilitate offer negotiation and new hire onboarding.
  • Must be able to understand how to recruit passive candidates and possess the mentality to "profile people and gauge chemistry of candidates for cultural fit and understand their motivation".
  • Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management; conducts in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios.
