Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Test Engineer for our Project Delivery Services Group located in our Riccarton site in Edinburgh.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Estimating work required utilising Agile techniques
  • Designing and developing test conditions and scripts (primarily automated) from various test basis collateral
  • Creating run plans, performing execution and cataloging / analyzing outcomes
  • Exposing, recording and managing Lifecycle of defects through to closure
  • Supporting and driving continuous improvement through retrospectives

 

 

The following are minimum requirements related to the IT Test Engineer position:

  • Experience of delivering change within an Agile environment 
  • Familiar with Devops concepts and practices
  • Ability to write / execute automated Test scripts OR coding proficiency in one or more languages
  • Effective communication skills for multi-national audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including ability to collaborate effectively
  • High Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
  • Relationship building skills                                                                                                    
  • Business acumen – Understanding of customer value

 

The salary for this position will be dependent on the candidate’s skills and experience.
