Job Summary

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform set up, operate and perform basic troubleshooting on the equipment.
  • Understand and comply with all SOPs pertaining to specific area. Provide input into the creation/revision of SOPs.
  • Perform Class 100 full operations using automated and manual equipment
  • Maintain accurate batch record paperwork and departmental records. 
  • Participate in the execution of validation protocols.
  • Assist in the training of departmental personnel.
  • Perform general housekeeping and adhere to safety procedures.
  • Provide backup to Technicians as needed.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education:  High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.).
  • Experience:  Two to four years related experience and/or training in a GMP manufacturing environment with automated assembly lines, robotics and equipment..
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
  • Other:  Basic computer and math literacy required. Knowledge of electrical schematics, PLC programming, ladder logic and robotic operation preferred.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Tasks require full range of motion of arms. 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • The employee is frequently required to stand while performing duties; sit; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee is occasionally required to work/type at a computer.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
