Job Summary


We are seeking a Maintenance General - Associate for our Maintenance site located Boisbriand. 


The following are responsibilities related to the Maintenance General - Associate :

  • Provide the necessary support in facilities and infrastructure management;
  • Monitor and carry out tests and inspections of the facilities;
  • Contact and accompany subcontractors;
  • Ensure the maintenance of the contingency plan;
  • Perform basic renovation works;
  • Assist in construction project management;
  • Transport material and samples;
  • Take appropriate action and/or make service calls in case of emergency/unusual situations, inside or outside regular working hours;
  • Provide support to all departments, as required;
  • Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GL), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal procedures, whenever required;
  • Manage time efficiently;
  • Perform any other reasonable tasks that may be required.


The following are minimum qualifications related to the Maintenance General - Associate position:

  • Diploma in building maintenance or in a related filed;
  • Relevant experience in the construction field or building maintenance;
  • Good ability to perform manual work;
  • Good ability to understand layout plans and measurements;
  • French (oral and written) is required, English comprehension is an asset;
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Good ability to work with time constraint and adapt to change;
  • Capacity to work autonomously and proactively, as well as in a team.
  • Have a valid class 5 driver's license
  • Be comfortable with computer systems (can be formulated otherwise) but must be able to easily use a computer


Job Qualifications


  • Work is performed throughout the facilities, including offices, laboratories, animal and mechanical rooms;

  • Sensory attention is required on a regular basis;

  • Work to be performed in a preventative and secure way;

  • Work schedule requires flexibility as per job requirements;

  • Work with potentially hazardous products;

  • Travelling required between the sites.
