Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager II for our Microbial solutions organization in Europe. The position requires to operate from Europe and involves frequent travel to meet customers across Europe. An Account Manager is responsible for selling the innovative Microbial Solutions portfolio focused on rapid microbiological products to major accounts. You will be expected to maintain existing accounts and further maximize opportunities within the established territory through market research and sales activities. You will be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales targets for the assigned products and services.


The following are responsibilities related to the Account Manager II:

  • Books product and service orders for Celsis® and Accugenix® products
  • Promotes and sells the organization's products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or targeted customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Develops profitable business with new and existing customers.
  • Oversees sales expansion, introduces new products/services to clients and organize visits to current and potential clients.
  • Pursues sales leads; visits existing and new customers; assesses customer needs and suggests appropriate products and services.
  • Responds to customer enquiries; negotiates prices and delivery times within limits of authority; and concludes sales orders to meet revenue targets.
  • Identifies, researches, and contacts prospective customers and builds positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
Minimum Requirements

The following are minimum requirements related to the Account Manager II position:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.)
  • Minimum of three (3) years B2B sales experience industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
Preferred Qualifications

The following are preferred qualifications related to the Account Manager II position:

  • Life Science Degree
  • Sales experience in personal care, cosmetic or life science Industries
