Job Summary

We are seeking a IT Supervisor for our Safety Assessment Group site located Ashland, Ohio.

Responsible for providing support and leadership to IT site services team at a large or multiple small sites. Ensure that the sites are well served and aligned to local IT priorities. Plan and organize IT activities at various sites, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring smooth operations, increasing user satisfaction, and improving IT site processes and procedures. Coordinate design and delivery of site support with other IT staff and end users as well as ensuring service level agreements (SLAs), timelines, and budgets are met. Establish site support priorities and service level agreements specific to site(s) managed


  • Ensure optimal performance of direct reports, implement performance and productivity strategy, including key performance indicators to monitor these.
  • Ensures operational; issues are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Develop effective relationships and partnerships at all levels to ensure seamless and cohesive team approach to meeting and surpassing our internal and external client needs
  • Identify areas where implementation of improved processes is required, evaluates risks, benefits and complexity of suggested options
  • Look for and implement training methods that will insure that industry standards are met/surpassed.
  • Ensure participation in and sponsorship of the IT strategy and encourage end-users to participate in the strategy,


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Experience: Ten to twelve years related experience in IT or Customer Service facing environment.  Service or helpdesk experience preferred.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above
