Living in Newark

Newark, Delaware is the third largest city in the State. A short 25-minute car ride will take you to Wilmington-Delaware. Newark is also an hour away from Philadelphia and two hours away from Washington D.C.

Local attractions are: Rittenhouse Park, with its trout-filled creek, White Clay Creek Park which is one of Delaware’s largest and most well-known state parks with over 37 miles of trails as well as a late-1700s mansion on the estate of Judge Morris.

University of Delaware is the local university, which also has a museum that includes collections of art, music, theater, plus the Mineralogical Museum.
