Our Dublin site in Ireland are recruiting for Demand & Supply Planner, on site, to lead all production planning for Dublin and Kaarst, according to S&OP plans.
Could you be the one to lead our Dublin Site Planning Process to ensure all areas are aligned and collaborate to deliver all customer and business requirements?
This role requires someone with strong relationship building skills and resilience.
Communication will be key and working to forecasts or projections will be key.
Main Tasks

Generate monthly demand forecast in the planning software as defined in the Demand Planning process and participate in Forecast Reviews with Sales Leadership on a monthly basis.

Generate yearly production plan for Dublin and Kaarst based on output from S&OP plan.

Participate in Product Lifecyle and Demand / Supply Reviews for all brands.

Communicate directly with partner regarding forecasting, purchasing and inventory related to the Celsis business for the dairy market.

Run demand forecast error reports, investigate reasons for errors and adjust to reduce forecast errors.

Adjust demand plans in the planning software based on information gathered from Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing and Microbial Solutions leadership insight.

Utilise demand plan to generate optimised inventory levels and order recommendations in Planning software to produce planned orders from internal suppliers

Compare planned order requirements, inventory levels and recommendations from planning system to generate required manufacturing orders for internal suppliers

Develop Master Production schedule by balancing demand forecasts, customer orders and production capacity.

Enter process orders for instruments QC into SAP as needed.

Monitor inventory availability, shelf-life requirements and expiration dates to assess and minimise inventory at risk.

Plan kit assembly to meet customer orders and expiration requirements where applicable.

Ensure that production and purchased materials and supplies are available on a just in time basis, that they are the right quality, supplied by approved suppliers / service providers, that the right quantities are purchased for use and for stock, that the best value for money is achieved at all times.

Check deliveries of materials ordered and shipments received. Within prescribed limits, take actions to ensure on – time delivery of materials.

Collaborate with internal suppliers and internal customers on daily activities and special projects.

Ensure that activity is conducted in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and the principles of ISO, GMP and cGMP.

Learn and train users on Supply Chain Planning Software.

Leverage value of Supply Chain Planning and SAP Software by participating in and leading continuous improvement teams.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree or APICS CPIM or CSCP
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in demand / supply planning position.
- Familiarity with company products and production needs
- Advanced excel skills (Pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
- Understanding of how to plan, schedule and manage inventory
- Appreciation of the requirements of project management would be an advantage (planning, monitoring, and reporting)
- Fluent English speaking and writing skills
- Capacity of assimilating, digesting and disseminating a large variety of information
- Detailed knowledge of Supply Chain Planning processes and software
- Capable of performing required transactions in SAP, Tagetik Planning Software
- Effective stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build robust cross functional working relationships
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate fluently at all levels, both verbally and in writing, and both within the organisation and with customers
- Good planning, analytical and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
- Ability to coordinate or lead teams for projects or continuous improvement.
