Overall Responsibility
The S&OP and demand Planning Leader will champion the end-to-end S&OP process to lead demand planning activities and maintaining forecast models in Tagetik, incorporating business intelligence gathered from sales, marketing, finance, distributors, and affiliates. Be a key contributor to the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
This role will be responsible for the development and update of the supply chain metrics, preparing for and participating in Executive IBP Leadership Review. The S&OP and demand Planning Leader will participate in Product Lifecyle review for all Microbial product family. Take lead in the development of Capacity Planning models and share responsibility for the Supply Planning for the Charleston operation’s manufactured and purchased materials.
Main Duties / Responsibilites
- Manage monthly global forecasts, for all global sites, to provide cross functional teams the rolling 18-month SKU forecast.
- Lead the monthly S&OP discussions with both leadership and additional cross functional teams to discuss revenue forecasts, sales drivers, pricing updates, and gap analysis. Including the Executive IBP Leadership Review
- Assist in the maintenance and development of capacity models for key constraints as identified by Operations leadership for supply reviews.
- Utilize demand plan to generate optimized inventory levels and order recommendations in the planning software; compare Demand to Capacity over the planning horizon to identify imbalances.
- Adjust demand plans in the planning software based on information gathered from Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing and Microbial Solutions leadership insight.
- Actively manage forecast accuracy metrics, gap analysis (statistical vs financial forecasts), and month-end misses to engage with different teams to understand future business impacts.
- Understand volume drivers to highlight potential opportunities/risks that would impact the supply plan, ops/production plan, and raw material plan.
- Collaborates with Sales and Product Management to obtain consistent forecast inputs, expectations from new product launches + EOL transitions, and addresses various gaps among all forecasts.
- Responsible for the end-to-end data workflow. Various SAP imports flowing into datahub, managing ETLs, datasets + hierarchies, and import process within the datahub to export into our planning software.
- Collaborate with internal suppliers and internal customers on daily activities and special projects.
- Perform other Supply Chain related duties as assigned.
- Ensure that activity is conducted in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and the principles of ISO, GMP and cGMP.
- Participate in various team meetings as requested.
- Learn and train users on Supply Chain Planning Software.

Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, and location. Please note this is a Hybrid role which is partial remote and partial onsite at our Charleston, SC location.
